It's time for the Kandy Halloween Party at Playboy Mansion. Walking up to the door is like walking into a bizarre, dirty dream – there are midgets, monsters and near-naked models everywhere.
Waiting in line to meet Hef and his Playmates, I see fellow Aussie Sheridyn Fisher. She's at the party after recently becoming the face (and body) of the Playboy Swimwear range.
In my excitement I almost don't realise that one of my snowflake nipple pasties is about to fall off and leave me dangerously exposed. Luckily a mermaid hottie with starfish pasties lends me her nipple glue. It's a beautifully intimate moment as she paints my nipple with glue on the dancefloor.
I venture out to the famous Grotto 'cos it's gotta be seen, but one whiff of steamy, sweaty bodies convinces me it’s time to get out of there.
Hanging with Hef
I'm woken by my ringing phone. I'm beyond surprised to hear on the end of the line, "Hello there Emily, this is Hugh Hefner calling."
I almost hang up before I realise it isn't a prank call. Security asked for my details the night before but I thought nothing of it. Now Hef is personally calling to invite me to the Mansion for lunch. I happily cancel my date with Roscoe's House of Chicken.
When I get there, it’s so relaxed it feels like a family barbecue – if your family is comprised of bubbly and busty babes. I sit around with a bunch of Playmates and, bizarrely, Ronn Moss, aka Ridge Forrester, from
The Bold and the Beautiful, talking about everything from puppies to lingerie and watching new episodes of
The Girls of the Playboy Mansion.
Eventually, all good (and surreal) things must come to an end, so, I say my goodbyes to the legend that is Hugh Hefner and the rest of my newfound cavalcade of crazy mates.
