Twitter twits: the good, the bad and the ugly

Twitter may be good if you’re a funny bastard or a hot chick who chats about lingerie parties, but for every good tweeter, there are just as many twits. We take a look at who rates and who’s just wasting space.

The good
Shaquille O’Neal
The basketball legend kept his fans updated with a tweet before a home game and at halftime. Now that’s dedication. Hopefully, Aussie cricketers will take note and keep us updated at tea time so we don’t have to listen to Bill Lawry talking about pigeons.

Russell Brand
Following the tweets of funnyman and self-confessed sex addict Russell Brand is like hooking into an IV drip straight from his warped brain. Keep it coming: “I did a strip last night but then just went to bed. A shoddy finale.”

The bad
Pete Wentz
Fall Out Boy douche bag Pete Wentz regularly lets off gems like this cracker: “Dude there was seriously a white power ranger?”. What the f–k?

Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton has got it half right – no words, just pictures.

The ugly
Kanye West
Someone you won’t catch in Twitter land is singer Kanye West. His recent abusive message aimed at the site has probably got him banned for good.

Gretel Killeen
Gretel Killeen is also not a fan – the aging presenter suffered a nasty public lynching after her shocking Logies performance last month.
