John Wayne Parr has five world kickboxing titles, 225 stitches and one hot wife.

WERE your oldies fans of western flicks?
No, this name was given to me when I went to live and fight in Thailand. My real name, Wayne, means “bastard” to them so I had to come up with something new. “John Wayne” stuck with me and most people think it’s my real name now.

Surely as a five-time world champion, the Thais would think you’re a bastard for dominating their national sport?
A lot of people over there weren’t happy when I started to beat their best fighters, that’s for sure. Accusations were flying around that they’d given all the secrets of the game away to an outsider.

What’s the worst injury you’ve had in the ring?
I’ve had 225 stitches in my face, so probably some of the cuts I’ve received up there. I remember during one fight being cut open and the blood spurting a metre in front of me. I looked like a car accident afterwards. My face had to be put back together.

Don’t kill us, but, well, your wife is gorgeous.
She’s also a world champion kickboxer. She was the most famous female fighter in America when I met her, and then I got her pregnant – which I still think she hasn’t forgiven me about.

What would the cops do if you were having a domestic? Call in an air-strike?
No, I just try not to make her too angry. I don’t want to get up to 300 stitches before the end of my career.

Frank Dux II, mate you gotta be kidding by naming Anthony Mundine in your toughest blokes list. He is the biggest girl I've ever seen and if you haven't already noticed, he only fights has-beens or no-body's so that he can make himself feel like he's tough.

I good sportsman but insignificant compared to Fedor Emelianenko. If he took on an mma fighter like Fedor then 300 stitches would be the least of his worries.
