Facebook ruined Miss Bikini World's career

Friday, August 21, 2009
Facebook has ruined the modelling career of Miss Bikini World hottie Sarah Hilton, by claiming her gallery of pics are too provocative.

RALPH.com has scored EXCLUSIVE SHOTS and an INTERVIEW with the Melbourne swimsuit and lingerie model before she appeared on A Current Affair.

Since the Facebook moderators disabled the Melbourne model’s account in January, the modelling work has dried up for the babe with Maltese and German background.

The 23-year-old with a total of 4000 Facebook friends says, "This has seriously affected my modelling career. I've scored countless jobs through my Facebook fan page and profile and this is how I liaise with models, photographers and men's magazines."

Sarah has sent endless emails to Facebook, but the social networking site replies with the same email every time, claiming the photos violate the terms of use and show nudity.

"I haven't showed any topless, bare bottom or full nudity pics and the most I've showed is a white wet top," says the former RALPH Australian Swimwear of the Year finalist.

The Wet'n'Wild calendar model and former face of Awgasm clothing brand has had to rely on other retail work to pay the bills.

RALPH.com proposes to start up a petition and present it to Facebook.

I feel sorry for Sarah. She is not hurting anyone and with a body like that the only thing being injured are my eyes. There are a lot of jealous people out there and i'm pretty sure they know who they are..give her a break ...she's georgeous.
Can`t see what all the fuss is about. I bet most kids are looking at far worse that these pics in mags and computer. Granted, the wet tee shirt one is getting close, but certainly no worse than one sees on tv. As far as Facebook is concerned, I feel this is a very suspect site in any case. Lots of people have regretted joining it, and personally, I would not have anything to do with it, so maybe Sarah should try a more suitable site.
I am amazed that all the negative comments seem to come from one guy in Sydney? Jelous?
Lets begin with the comment "join a pron site" since when did modeling have anything to do with porn? Wake up Social networking and marketing - online presence is essential for networking and marketing yourself. Is that a crime?... Of course not... Now let me pose 2 questions to all you "tall poppies" who like to put people down 1. Lets say you have a family album on facebook of you at the beach in your bathers... Should your profile be shut down?... Of course not 2. Facebooks terms and conditions state no nudity or violence... Are any of these photo's nude or violent? No they are not.... hmmm..... Now as for "Facebook is a social network anyway not an advertising ploy. " read the privacy statement on Facebook.... Guess what facebook has the right to review anything you post and use the info to sell it to other industries for marketing research... Not an advertising ploy? lol - wake up! Here's a girl just giving life a go and living her dream, if only more people would dare too
the bottom line to all of this is that those girls who reported her images are clearly just jealous of Sarah's success in the industry. basically, no one is forcing anyone to look at the photos so if its offending u.. DON'T LOOK!
Wow. My sister is a model in sydney, Her page has been disabled numerous times, til an explanation has been given OR photos have been removed. If her career depends on facebook.. It really isn't much of a career is it? Should my sister be claiming some form of compensation too?
Similar thing happened to me, but on MySpace. I had an account since 2003 when they first started, back then nobody had even heard of MySpace... Now it's gone. Sarah looks smashing, as always! xoxo
the pics are not that bad put them back up facebook they are legal pics not that bad do not look if it offends you its your bad i am confused as to why you would ban it bring them back and allow her back on
refer to subject but i have no idea why facebook whould ban it i am confused as to why
Yes, I think they are to provocative. There are enough porn sites and men's mags if the issue of nudity is being brought up and I think facebook is a site that allows people to catch up and stay in touch, not to exploit women as objects of oggling. There is enough of that going around. If somebody wants to get a job, you work hard to get a job, not blame others for your failure.
