US dealer sells truck and free AK-7

Wednesday, July 29, 2009
A car dealer in the US is offering an AK-7 assault rifle with every new truck he sells.

Mark Muller, owner of Max Motors in Missouri, will be handing customers a $450 gun voucher with each vehicle he offloads in August.

The car salesman previously offered pistols with other vehicles and stands by his business motto of “God, Guns, Guts and American pick-up trucks”.

“There is a lot of worry about crime, we have a methamphetamine problem around here and people just want to protect themselves," he reckons.

The type of people coming into Australia today well, We do need guns and knifes to protect ourselves, Just driving our cars around is not longer safe, As these people do not come here to live peaceful, Just look at Lidcombe and Blacktown in Sydney the police have to have the riot squad based close which are out numbered and can only look on, We are very vulnerable to violence today.
GOD made MAN, Sam Colt made them equal!. AMEN,brothers.
The old saying goes guns don't kill people, people kill people...... well this is true except when a person wants to kill and they have a gun they're halfway there. With any luck they can take out a whole bunch of school kids or co-workers or anyone else they feel wronged by. There is a reason apart from the difference in population that the US has more shootings than Australia. Society needs to stand up and take responsibility for their thoughts and actions, being ex-military I know first hand the leathality an automatic weapon provides...no more excuses Australia wake up! Only *** need guns...
I can just see the idiots that would buy those 'trucks' and why its such a good business move to offer that. I'm not one to stereotype but... screw it I'm stereotyping anyway. Honestly, I think I'd trust about 30% of the Australian public to safely carry a gun... I'm glad for the fact that theres a bajillion hoops to jump through to get one here, because if there weren't, every jerk who wanted to "protect" his ego would have one stashed away. At least at this rate, only responsible gun enthusiasts and qualified, trained professionals can handle these lethal weapons.
OK, just what we need in Australia, Mad Max the sequel. Have any of the proponents of free for all fully-automatic weapons possession for "self defence" ever taken an unarmed self defence course, or learned to dial "000" and lock their doors? And basically, learning to operate a semi-automatic weapon safely and responsibly is several levels above being able to spell at grade one level. Try to "think"" about it for two seconds...
The MV dealer is giving his customers a chance to defend themselves, just like we should be able to do in Australia. We've been disarmed. The various individual crims and groups of crims have increasingly armed themselves, forcing the police to get better guns, yet the rest of the Australian public is a sitting duck for the crims. If we defend ourselves, we are easy targets for prosecution for using excessive force in the process of definding our homes and loved ones. If someone considered attacking me and thought I might be able to lethally defend myself, he might think it over before traumatically victimising me and my family. In the USA, the National Rifle Association has long said, "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns." That's EXACTLY what HAS happened in Australia. We also have problems with robbers attacking their vitims with knives. If they thought someone might have a gun, they might get a job instead of getting money through robbery using a knife.
If it works in America then let him, if people can afford to buy the trucks then they are either responsable people or drug dealers in wich case, they could get guns anyway. They should relax on the gun laws in Australia. If someone wants a gun badly enough, no amount of laws are going to stop them from getting one or more, so relax and let people defend themself with something that allows the attacker to be hurt not the victams.
should be more of it, ie we were allowed to carry firearms in Oz perhaps people ( especially on the road) would be more polite
I totaly agree with this... I think that we as Australians should be given the right to bare arms aswell... Just think how much safer would you sleep if you have a Assault Rifle under your bed?
Excellent should be the same in qld
