Thief asleep on the job during lobster larceny

Tuesday, June 23, 2009
A man in Portland, Maine, USA, was caught napping after he broke into a restaurant and stuffed his guts.

Police claim that Paul Bruneau broke into the Portland Lobster Co. and stole cash, before settling in for a feed.

It's alleged the thief tore through 11 lobsters, and washed them down with a bottle of wine. Feeling dozy after the fine feed, he went asleep on a bench where workers found him the next day.

The Portland Press Herald reported that Bruneau was being held at the Cumberland County Jail, where the menu featured baked fish with baked potato.
