Confused German cops arrested each other after armed robbers held up a liquor store and escaped with a bunch of cash.

Two crooks terrorised a female cashier with a machete at a Berlin bottle-o before running off with nearly $11,000.

During the robbery, the shop’s silent alarm went off and plainclothes officers soon arrived at the store, but they were arrested when uniformed police stormed in seconds later.

Manager of the liquor store Heinz Huber said, “The plainclothes cops tried to tell them who they were, but the uniformed police told them to keep quiet. "It was only when one of the uniformed officers recognised one of the plainclothes cops that they realised what had happened,” as reported on Ananova.

Embarrassed police have issued an apology over the mix-up and promised to buy each other a dozen donuts to make up for it.

A supervisor on our worksite marched a young man to his vehicle told him to get in and shut up and drove him to the office to sack him for being idle. The embarressment started when the frightened young fellow finally blurted out to the pay clerk that he worked for a different contractor on the site. His real boss than wanted to sack him for leaving the worksite during work hours

Of course it could only happen with police officers, they're the only ones who could arrest people, let alone each other!
