Karaoke cabbie

• First karaoke taxi in province
• Passengers take longer route
• Cabbie spends $1413 on equipment

A Chinese cabbie has turned his ride into a thriving karaoke club for passengers.

Wannabe Asian pop star
Fan Xiaoming spent nearly $1500 on three flat screens, 16 speakers, amplifiers and disco lights.

"Many people ask for my number for their next trip and sometimes they even ask me to take a longer route so they can spend more time singing," says Xiaoming as reported in New Culture Daily.

The Disco Stu of China says the party passengers don't distract him from driving and it’s just like listening to the radio.

Xiasoming, from Changchun knows all the words to the songs and sings up a storm during his lunch break with his cab driver buddies.

We look forward to his audition clip for Chinese Idol.

This is great, I think Aussie cab drivers should have KARAOKE in their Taxi's. The problem is the SMELL.................. Most Aussie cab driver's need SOAP more than KARAOKE because most cab driver's STINK.............
this would be the best! for the cabbies who understand english anyway
