A Swedish nurse is about to be fired after posting brain and back surgery photos of patients on Facebook.

Although the Karolinska University Hospital patients couldn’t be identified from the photos, the women uploaded 14 images in her Facebook photo album for her online friends to view.

Mikael Svensson, the chief of neurosurgery says it violates the hospital's ethical code and an inquiry is underway, as reported on msnbc.com.

The nurse is away on holidays and is devastated about her actions.
