Nude dining and yoga has become popular fad in New York City.

About 50 punters meet every month for meals in a rented city restaurant where the dress code is literally non-existent. The diners are served by regular restaurant staff – forced by city laws to keep their clothes on.

"We've never had a restaurant say no to us, and the waiters think nothing of it," says organiser John Ordover, as reported in The New York Times. "If you work in a restaurant in New York City, the chances are you’ve seen a lot more shocking things than a room full of naked diners." The birthday suit look is also catching on at a New York stand-up comedy club and in some of the city’s yoga classes.

The classes attended by about 10 students have to obey two rules – leave your clothes behind and bring your own mat.

This sounds more like a Kamasutra class taught by Mike Myers in The Love Guru.

Hi, we're tourists from Switzerland and going to be in nyc in may we didn't even know there is such a place for nude dining in new york city. anyone please give us all the info.. we would love to attend. thanks
good on the yanks, for catching up. I have never heard of of a nude suicide bomber.
I am from a third world country and it is customery for us to be dress half naked ,especially the men,but only in new york it is such a big problem because there is so much of sick people around.

I think that this a great thing. Alot more places should embrace it. It is good that nudism is being broughr out of the dark ages and it is becoming alot more widely accepted thing in our community. As a nudist myself, I would like to see greater acceptance of these sort of nudist activities here in Australia. As long it is done in the right spirit I myself dont have a problem it.
There is nothing wrong with nudity, there should be more of it. We all born nude, so what is the big deal? Enjoy life
Honestly, the article was mildly interesting but not ground breaking. The best bit about articles like that are the absurd, moronic things people say about them. How about the bloody neanderthal that made the stupid antisemitic comment? Ha! And then there's the limited weight range crap. I'll bet you're an absolute picture yourself aren't you Lozza! People like you lot make me feel good about myself.
so whats the big deal,we all got the same.some,s bigges somes shorter some,s widder or narrower .as long no one farts its ok to eat in the nude.
what has this world come to? Animals have more dignity than these sick and disturbed people. Lack of civilisation and faith is one factor missing in this situation. Confidence and self security is another. One thing is for sure though, Jews are typical of this sort of behaviour as thousands of years ago, they worshipped idols and danced nude around their so called gods.
I must say nothing surprises me any more especially if it comes from America. People just dont know any more what to do next. If they feel it gives them a kick in life by eating naked in a Restaurant or having a yoga session, so be it and good luck to them, they want find me doing it. I guess next they are going to have sex over a dining table, no problem the clothes are already off and the rest of the Diners are going to have a free sex show, can't get any better.
