Watermelon is natural Viagra!

Six slices of fresh watermelon has a similar effect to taking one Viagra tablet, according to boffins from America.

The fruit contains an ingredient called citrulline that helps relax the body's blood vessels – which is similar to what happens when a toey bloke necks one of the little blue tablets.

Once citrulline is consumed in large quantities its changed into arginine, an amino acid that benefits the heart and the circulatory and immune systems.

"Watermelon may not be as organ-specific as Viagra, but it's a great way to relax blood vessels without any drug side effects," says Bhimu Patil, director of Texas A&M University's Fruit and Vegetable Improvement Centre as reported on Ananova.

Might be time to switch from beer to watermelon daiquiris, fellas.

Man i hav trouble gettin my *** 2 stay down let alone needing viagra and now watermelon 2 help gettin it up. i wont b able 2 eat watermelon at da beach or pool nemore, could u imagine, walkin round with funny shaped shorts on, n seein chicks n bikinis n *** wont exactly help. guees ill b diggin some more holes in the sand!

mmmmmmm Ok, so tommorow I dig up my petunias and plant water-melon seeds......... Will this news be suppressed by the drug barons ?? ie Lily Pfizer etc.. .......... More proof will be very welcome. I look fwd to, "concentrated essence of water-melon" I'll put it alongside my Tiffy. Mal A
