Bears dine at restaurant

A family of hungry brown bears recently terrified diners in Romania when they sat at the tables to eat the left-over food.

A 127kg brown bear and her two cubs feasted on the meals that frightened customers left behind and then raided the kitchen at Sinaia, about 120km north of Bucharest.

As reported on Ananova.com, patron Flaviu Lazar said, "It was like Goldilocks and the Three Bears in reverse. But this time they wanted the whole menu, not just porridge."

"We are used to bears sometimes coming into the town at night from the nearby forests as they look for food left in bins," said the customer.

"But no one has ever seen anything like this before. It was a miracle no one was hurt."

One time my aunt's family, who were living in South Africa, were having dinner with some friends over, when a warthog came through the sliding door and lay down next to the table. They managed to coax it out the door with a salad.
