Knievel Jr jumps over 24 semi trucks

Robbie Knievel must have balls of steel after he sped up to 153km and jumped over 24 semi trucks in Illinois, America.

It's the first time the son of legendary stunt man, Evel Knievel, has cleared a gap of 61 metres between the take-off and landing ramps.

Knievel is lucky to have survived his death-defying stunt in front of 40,000 fans, after the rear tyre slammed down on the tip of the landing ramp and the suspension shocks on the Honda bike bottomed out.

Knievel, wearing a white leather motorcycle suit, suffered an extremely sore back and was unable to leave his truck to conduct media interviews, according to a report on Cincinnatti.com.

If Knievel Jnr. wants to be remembered the way his father was he is going to have to step it up. With Madison jumping 350ft Knievel Jnr's jump of 61m just doesn't seem all that special.
