A French doctor is urging his fellow countrymen to fart, burp and sweat more to reduce the risk of cancer.
Dr Fredéric Saldmann believes French people should "dare to fart" and get rid of the two litres of gas produced each day, otherwise it can be harmful to the intestines.
In his book
Le Grand Ménage, Dr Saldmann says French people should embrace the stereotypical Pommie view of the French acting anti-social and burping after each meal as reported in the UK's
The Daily Telegraph.
The doctor claims that when one keeps air in the stomach, it can lead to more heartburn, which increases the risk of cancer of the oesophagus. The rise of this disease in France, Dr Saldmann says, is due to locals no longer partaking in the noisy art of burping.
In addition, Dr Saldmann advises nice smelling Frenchies to abandon antiperspirants to prevent toxins accumulating in the body.
