A Yankee man was trimming some branches in his backyard when he discovered skeletal remains hanging from a tree.

The South Florida home owner found a skull, a hand, and other human remains hanging several metres off the ground, as reported by cbs4.com.

Broward County Sheriff's homicide detectives examined the remains, which authorities believe have been hanging from the tree since last year. It appears to be a suicide.

Looks like a cubby house will no longer be built for the kids.
