Cops arrest "armed" pensioner

Cops stormed an old folks home to arrest a pensioner who was terrorising the joint on his electric scooter armed with a toy gun and a cowboy hat.
All of the residents were evacuated until the fuzz arrived. With guns drawn, they stormed in to find Eugene Hide, 75, fanging up and down corridors on his electric scooter while waving his toy shooter in the air.
Police promptly arrested Eugene and took him away for questioning - he was later released without being charged.
The retired council worker later apologised to residents for "Getting a bit excited." He sounds like the kind of guy we'd like to party with.
