Footy fan's "gay premiers" tattoo

A diehard Geelong Cats supporter is the laughing stock of the AFL world after he mistakenly was left with a tattoo that said his team were "Gay Premiers 2007".

Before consuming 15 tinnies in Phuket, Thailand, Neville gave the tattooist a piece of paper that stated "right arm, Day Premiers 2007 and left arm, Night Premiers 2006". The tattooist took him literally — almost.

Now he has "right arm" written on his right arm, just above "Gay Premiers 2007" because the tattooist marked in "Gay" instead of "Day".

Neville's son-in-law walked in once the tattooist had written on the right arm and informed him of the balls-up.

"I thought 'you're joking'! I told them you might as well have left arm on the other one and make it a bit fun," said Neville in an interview with 3AW.
Sounds like there's a reason this bloke is called Neville.

cheaper tattoo in phuket or not ,it looks like good work ,to bad neville didnt check the stencil before it was inked, tattoo is pretty permanent

I'm going to Phuket in a month, think i might stick clear of the tattoists....or maybe not consume 15 tinnies before hand

What a loser. What a waste of airspace !!!!! Did this guy think that because he was in Thailand that he would get a good job done at a cheaper than anything price. There are so many good tattoo artists here in Australia who understand English and could have given the bloke what he wanted. ( of course he probably wanted to save some money ) I meself have two from both The Crows Premierships years ago and yes they cost a bit but I wear them with pride. Anyhow I wonder if he's going to pay for the skin grafts to remove them but then if you think about it. Maybe the tattoo bloke didn't get it all that wrong. Cyas all later and have a great day.
