Two Seppo primary school boys have invented a pair of underpants that prevent wedgies from school bullies and drunken mates.

The eight-year-old twin boys Jared and Justin Serovich designed the "Rip Away 1000", a pair of undies that uses rigged boxers and fabric fasteners to hold together some seams.

The third-graders came up with the idea after giving each other wedgies in the playground and their step-dad joked someone ought to invent wedgie-proof underwear.

It's time for The Simpsons writers to give Millhouse and Ralph a pair.
