Would you rather be remembered as a skate icon or a fashion icon?
I’m going through a stage at the moment where I’m not just skateboarding – I’ve got a lot of stuff on my plate. But I’d just like to be remembered as a
good person.
What makes you so iconic when it comes to fashion?
I don’t have the normal skateboarding look. I’ve been known to wear white from head to toe and some people think that’s pretty
wild. This interview’s going pretty bad already, isn’t it? I look like an idiot.
Don’t sweat it, there’s still a few more questions. What’s next in skatewear?
High-waisted
g-strings for men? Nah. I think it’s more about refining big pieces of clothing. So, T-shirts will get two inches longer and be slightly more fitted.
Do ladies dig skaters more than other extreme sports dudes?
Are you kidding me? It’s hopeless. I’m sorry to all the kids out there, but we couldn’t pull
girls like the surfers. If you want to see some girls, get down to a surf contest.
Your Fuel TV internet profile says you enjoy making gourmet meals with asparagus.
Do you believe everything that’s printed? That is a complete lie. Like, I enjoy cooking, but they spiced it up a little with the old asparagus line. Do you like asparagus?
This is getting too Jamie Oliver. You were rocking bulk jewellery at this shoot. Was that a one-off?
Nah, it was business as usual. I’m accumulating more jewellery as I go on. Around my neck, I’ve got a St Christopher
travel safe lanyard sort of thing that my mum gave me.
What’s your verdict on sunnies at night?
If I’m doing it, I’m usually under the influence a little and I’ve probably popped the lenses out. Me and a friend used to run around with those plastic sunglasses that you could pop the lenses out of easily.
Trendy shit. How about a skater pack with an In-N-Out Burger hat and sunnies without lenses?
