Barbecue lamb chops

This golden oldie is always a winner at any barbie, any time of the year.

Ingredients
⅓ cup of olive oil
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 onion, chopped roughly
2 tablespoons of oregano
2 bay leaves
6 lamb loin chops
¼ cup mixed herbs (optional)
A couple of beers to drink while cooking

Method
Combine the oil and lemon juice. Process the onion with oregano in a food processor, then stir into the oil mixture and add bay leaves. This will give the recipe a Mediterranean twist.

Pour marinade over the chops and refrigerate for 30 minutes. After working up a sweat, two or three sips of beer is compulsory.

Preheat the barbecue to medium heat. Remove the bay leaves from the marinade and barbecue chops until tender.
