Beer lovers can now share a drink with their dog now that a new beef-flavoured beer has been invented for canines.
When Elise Schumacher watched her two dogs jump at the chance to catch a drop of beer, she decided to make a drink suitable for her four-legged friends.
The owner of Paws Point store in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs invented Dog Beer, which is just like real beer, but without the alcohol.
"It's DB, just like VB, and the slogan is, 'Shout your best friend a beer'", Schumacher said, as reported in Sydney's
The Daily Telegraph..
"I have drunk it. It tastes like beef and smells like beer."
While dogs seem to enjoy human beer, the hops in beer can cause canine seizures while the carbon can be deadly.
Dog-friendly cafes are stocking the brand and it's sure to become very popular with men who'd like to treat their best buddy to a nice cold one.
