Follow these top tips to get the best bed head

What you’ll need

What do nurses, maids and mums have in common? If you said, “I’ve fantasised about all three” then you’ve got issues. The right answer is they all know how to make a bed. And now Renee and Nevena are here to get your sheet in order, too.

Step 1
Lay a sheet evenly over the bed, then grab any overhang at the base. Tuck it in firmly. Repeat along both sides and make “hospital corners”. Leave some overhang at the head.

Step 2
Bend over and pick up your blanket. Bung it over the sheet and repeat the tuck-in process. Then, in a move that’ll impress neat-freak chicks, turn down the overhanging blanket and sheet at the head of the bed.

Step 3
After admiring any nearby chest pillows, grab some regular ones and fluff them.

Step 4
When the pillows are ready, lay them at the top of the bed – or one at each end. Smooth out the sheets, for that nice final touch, then get ready to mess them up.
