2008 RALPH Australian Swimwear Model of the Year Ashleigh Sudholz offers advice for this year’s spunks – in her underwear.

Top shoot, Ash. Is it true you were hungover for it it?
I was a little, actually. You’re always told never to turn up to a shoot like that, but the night before was the RALPH Australian Swimwear Model launch and I was out with the RALPH team. I think it’s turned out to be one of the best shoots I’ve done. I had make-up at 7am and I’d only gone to bed at, like, four. I didn’t feel too good but it looks great.

You always look great.
Thanks, but I wish my boobs were bigger, wish I had better abs, you know. People always say, “What the hell?” but I look at myself, back when I was doing boxing and everything, and I had killer abs and arms.

Trust us, it’s all good. What do you think about when you’re posing for photo shoots?
I was just trying to look sexy. I imagined a hot, sexy guy standing across the room, which helped bring out the sex appeal.

It certainly worked. What’s the best kind of sex?
Make-up sex is pretty good. You’ve got that tension and you just want to rip each other’s clothes off. But making love’s the best sex. I’m a softie and a romantic.

Aw, how sweet. What’s been happening since you won the 2008 RALPH Australian Swimwear Model of the Year competition?
I moved to the Gold Coast. I’ve tried to do a bit more modelling, made a few guest appearances and done a bit of judging, too. I’m pretty excited for the 2009 Nationals – let’s see what the girls can bring.
