If a guy’s swing is a bit shonky, would you let him practice at the driving range?
It takes time to perfect a new course. A few rounds with your partner on the new holes allows you to show each other how you like to swing and drive the stick. I’d like to go to the driving range together and practice hitting balls as long and as far as we can.

Are you after a well manicured fairway, or are you just as happy with a naturally vegetated ground?
I like a nicely trimmed green to play on, and I prefer my personal green to be all gone. I don’t like any obstructions in my game. I give a course a very high rating if it’s kept in good condition by the groundskeeper.

When the ball is in play, do you like to commentate about what’s going on?
I don’t need a quiet playing field to focus on my game. A lot of noise actually increases my chance of being first to finish. I always let my man know how much I’m enjoying it. I want to see and hear that he is, too.
