You've got a Dutch background. Do most women from Holland look like you?
In general, Dutch chicks are tall and have blue eyes and blonde hair. So the traditional Dutch woman probably looks like me.

Let’s get onto your new flick, Crooked Business, a crime story set on the Gold Coast. How were you discovered?
I was at a nightclub with my friends and this guy came up to me and asked if I wanted to be in a movie and, of course, I thought he was just some idiot. So I was like, “Yeah, whatever,” but then we talked for a while and he gave me his business card and it went from there.

Could you walk us through the audition?
I came to the studio and I had to pretend like I was coming out of the water. So I had to walk and flick my hair. I was in normal clothes – no bikini at the audition.
