Yes, I’ve done lots of photo shoots for hair magazines, and I do a lot of hair modelling for Hair Machine, a really big salon here in SA and overseas. I’ve been in their TV and print ads and appeared in international magazines.

Hair modelling – is it a specialist skill, like when George Costanza was a hand model?
It’s more about having the right look. They’re quite selective about getting the right features. I came to them with long hair and all I asked was that they didn’t cut it all off.

Are you often found in the kitchen in your underwear?
Actually, I am a bit like that around the house, walking around in my underwear. I’m just really comfortable that way.

Please help us picture your bedroom.
I’m still in my childhood bedroom because I’m studying, so all the same posters are still on the walls because I haven’t bothered pulling them down – Kurt Cobain, Smashing Pumpkins, Magic Dirt, Eddie Vedder.

Ever made a man cry?
I may have. I’ve had my heart broken many times and I’ve also probably broken a few, too. It’s about even there.

Do you want to be famous?
I enjoy being recognised and seen through my work but I don’t particularly want to be famous. I just want to be comfortable in my own life.

If you want to be famous, you need an X-rated home video – do you have one?
No, I don’t think I’ll be doing that, sorry – and I don’t go out of my way to see the ones going around.

Would you do a reality show?
Yes, I’ve applied to go one before.

Bikini on or off in the shower?
I think I’d be one of those typical girls who starts in bathers and goes topless a week later.

Do you have a sordid secret?
Not really, but I suppose I hide my geeky past – the fact I play piano and some bass guitar, and once took singing lessons. But I’m a temperamental artist so I like to do it by myself.

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to make love to a woman?
I think everyone thinks about those sorts of things at least once. Because of the work I do, I meet a lot of breathtakingly beautiful girls and some of them aren’t the nicest people and some are beautiful inside and out. I make them my friends.
