Australian Swimwear Model of the Year runner-up Amanda Barry, 20, is so good-looking she should be illegal.

When's the last time you broke the law?
Before I was 18 my girlfriends and I snuck into nightclubs. I’m pretty good when it comes to the law, so that’s probably the most illegal thing I’ve done.

What sort of strife do you get into these days?
When we go out and have a good night, we let loose pretty hard. It’s a few drinks, heaps of fun and dancing, then we might not get home till the next afternoon.

When do you feel your hottest? I like not having to put make-up on and feeling sexy in my own skin – just being able to walk around in my bra and undies.

If you killed a man, how would you hide the body? I’d probably be too squeamish to chop it up into bits and feed it to something, so I’d put him in a bag with bricks, hire a dinghy, take him out to sea and chuck him over the edge (laughs).

You answered that quickly. Have you thought about it a lot?
(Laughs) Oh, no – movies, movies.

Are handcuffs best used for police work or recreation? I haven’t actually experienced them before, but a lot of my girlfriends have the fluffy ones and they say they’re pretty fun, so I think they’re definitely not just for police.

Fluffy and handcuffs don’t seem to belong in the same sentence.
Yeah, they seem silly, but I think they’d be fun to use, so I’ll have to put that one to the test.

Do you take the initiative with sex?
It depends on what mood I’m in. Sometimes I will, sometimes I like the other person taking the initiative and surprising me. You don’t want it to be predictable, though. It’s always exciting, I’ve got to say that.

Well, you’re not going to say you’re staring at the ceiling, bored.
No (laughs). I can be exciting, and I like to be excited, as well. It goes both ways.

What does it take to get you excited?
A sense of humour.

In the bedroom?
I guess so, sometimes. It depends on the context – sometimes it’d probably be a bit awkward. Leading up to it, though, definitely – a sense of humour and a passionate person.

What if a guy shouted another girl’s name during sex, just as a joke?
I don’t think it would go down too well. You’re obviously not that interested or involved in what’s going on. I don’t think that would go down with any girl.

If you were locked up in prison, how long could you last until you looked for love in the arms of another woman?
I’d probably be happy enough just to have a friendship with somebody, but I’ve never been in that situation, so it could be different. If you feel you need that extra physical contact while you’re in prison, there’s no real harm. What happens in prison, stays in prison, I guess. I do find women really attractive. I think women have beautiful bodies.

Do you get physical with your girlfriends on a big night out?
We have a lot of fun and we get pretty close. You see girls who kiss each other in nightclubs. I don’t know, my friends have all had a bit of an experiment – a bit of a kiss at home at parties when we’ve got drunk – but we’re not out there to parade around and all the rest of it... well, not that I can remember, anyway (laughs). I could be lying.

What would you like to do down the track?
I’d love to travel. I’ve been to Italy and France, representing Australia in ballroom dancing when I was 15. That was heaps of fun.

Are ballroom dancers great on the job?
I don’t know, I haven’t experienced another ballroom dancer.

What should all guys do in bed?
Make a woman feel like she’s the sexiest thing that ever walked the planet, ’cos a lot of women can be insecure about their bodies. It’s really nice when you feel that somebody thinks you’re amazing, so if you do that, you’re going to have a good time.
