Adrenaline junkie Lauren Eagle, 20, is the perfect host for FOX8 action sports show Ra – and not just because she looks hot in a bikini.

Being a gun water-skier, do you spend most of your life in a bikini?
I’ve been in a bikini since I started water-skiing when I was three. I’m a big-time water baby. I also love surfing, wakeboarding, swimming, water polo – anything to do with the water. I’m an adrenaline junkie.

What have you achieved in waterskiing?
I won the women’s world title in 2005 when I was 17. I’ve been Australian champion five times in a row and have won the Catalina Island Race about five times in a row. But I could be on my way out of water-skiing. You can never make a living from it and it’s quite dangerous. You’re doing about 180km/h and when you hit the water it’s like concrete. I’m thinking of transferring to wakeboarding.

How did you get the gig hosting Ra?
I was in the celebrity challenge at the [Australian] Grand Prix and I met the producer. They needed a good-looking girl or guy to host, but also someone with credibility in the water sports arena. I’m in my bikini every episode.

Are you single at the moment? I was in a relationship, but I’m a single girl now. It's great being single.
