You've done bikini shoots before, as a Coffs Harbour girl what's the response like in a small town?
Most of the guys know me so they go around asking each other, "Have you seen Kristy in that mag?" I don’t see the problem, though. I walk around in my bikini most of time anyway.

If you were with a guy who was really attractive with a six-pack, but then he developed a huge gut, would you still love him?

Well, I do care about the way I look and I’d like him to care a bit, too, but I'm a real people person. That's a turn on for me: someone with a nice personality. I got a little role on an American soapie and I went up to have a chat to one of the main actors, and he had no time for me.

Word is you’re also filming a video clip in New York?
Yeah, it's a music video for Chris Sheppard, a new r'n'b artist from New Jersey. It’s a love song and I’m the girl.

How did you score a spot in an American music video?
I was doing the 2004 Miss Indy competition and an agent said they wanted to sign me up. I got photos done and the producer saw them. He flew me out to New York for an audition and I got it.

Would you have given Trousersnake a little cheesecake?
I would have, absolutely.
