Anthony Mundine flexes his strongest muscle - his mouth.

When did you realise boxing was the sport for you?
At about 17. As I boxed more, I beat bigger guys in the gym and made good fighters look mediocre. I knew I was going to be The Man. Early on, I had the ability, but not the experience, and that’s what got me knocked out.

You're talking about Sven Ottke knocking you out in 2001. Do you wish you hadn't taken that fight?
Maybe I took it too early in my career, but I’m like King Kong. If someone wants to fight me, I’ll never say no.

Who were your heroes as a kid?
Dad, of course, but Muhammad Ali was number one. I modelled my style on him – to hit and not be hit.

Was that why you ended up with such a big mouth?
Nah, that just happened. I stand for what I stand for, and I’m going to say what I think. I represent me, the Aboriginal world and the Muslim world. Someone's got to.

Jeff Fenech was in RALPH recently and said his legacy is going to be stronger than yours because he’s fought better boxers.
There's only one name he fought, Azumah Nelson. He got him on a bad night when he was very sick. Nelson came back later and iced him. Jeff doesn’t even rate. He wouldn’t fight Barry Michael and Lester Ellis.

He’s not the only one who’s suggested you’ve dodged big fights.
I ain’t dodged the big fights. The big fighters have been dodging me. I’ve been calling them, I ain’t got no calls back. I’m on top of my game – I’m willing to fight anyone.

Do you genuinely dislike Jeff Fenech or is it just showmanship?
I honestly believe Jeff can't fight – straight up. He was a wrestler. They elevate him to stature he doesn’t deserve, and the same with Danny Green. They say Green’s a great boxer and he couldn’t lay a glove on me. What does that make me?

In your last music video, you burned a picture of John Howard. Is K-Rudd gonna cop the same treatment?
Yeah, man, could be. They're all the same – cut from the same cloth. They say sorry, but it doesn’t mean shit. They talk but don't do. Sorry doesn’t make things better.

mundian is good boxer smart boxer and there is no one in australia that cun beat him . ya his got a mouth on him, its a part of boxing . im sick of every one going on about green mundian gave him to go s and he beat him and you still go on about him . roy jones is going nock the **** out of green .

If danny green didnt focus so much on trying to knock out mundine it would of been a different story, but who could blame him for wanting to knock out mundine coz he talks so much s**t, but next time if green fights against him just going for point green will win and he nearly knocked out mundine in the last round he left it too late, mundine is weak taking weak fights you would never see him fight some one as good as roy jones

When will people understand that Mundine fought Green even when both fighters were at the top of their peaks. I think the Australian people dream too much and can't except that Green was the behind in points and out skilled. First he thought he could beat Anthony Mundine THE M*!"( will not call Anthony by his Nickname ) and now Danny Green is taking on Roy Jones.....??? Question Question?? Green is going to be taught a lesson not to fight another African American who holds 4belts including his. He can't even beat Anthony so why does he put himself in more danger. The last time Roy Jones fought you will understand what I'm trying to tell you. Green you "silly Dilly" Jones is going to make you look stupid then Glen Kelly another Aboriginal fighter who got caught and now he has to sit back and watch replay and replay on how he got hit by a fighter with his hands behind his back. I feel sorry for Glen Kelly and imagine when his kids grow up. ( Poor Kids) To Green dont let it happen to you

No i dont...not now....Mundine is good, but has had no quality fighters..i would like to see a Gaele rematch ASAP....time will tell for that one...

you got knocked out by a guy with the worst knockout percentage in world boxing,wait until pavlik hits you,sad truth is the losses on your record are the fights you have not been able to hand pick,fenech fought the best in each division and won legit world titles.

the truth is Mundine will be best remembered by the majority of us not for his ability in the ring but for being a loud mouth *** who won't shut his stupid mouth. he's an embarrassment to australia

This bloke is all mouth. How can anyone be a 'world champion' after fighting a handful of boxers? Mundine.....more like mundane!

Yes i do believe Anthony would beat Greeene in a rematch.Yes he has got a big mouth but he can back it up.
